Online Payments

On this page, you may renew your Membership or join the Society as a new Member. You may also pay for Jstor access. It is also possible to buy back issues of the journals. All transactions are processed in pounds sterling.  Refunds are offered on subscription payments within seven days, if you have not yet received a copy of the journal(s) or used the Library.  If you wish to cancel your order of publications, you have the right to do so within seven days of receipt of your goods. Items must be returned in the condition they were received to: The Roman Society, Senate House, Malet Street, London WC1E 7HU. 

To pay online, first make your selection (eg Full Membership with JRS) and click the Add Basket button. When you are ready to pay, click the View Basket link below and you will be taken to the checkout page.

Membership

To renew your Membership or join the Society as a new Member, please select the relevant option below. If you have a Direct Debit in place, then your membership will be renewed automatically on or around 2nd January; please do not choose to pay online as well.

New Members & Sponsorship

All new members must have a sponsor before they borrow books from the Library. Sponsors need not be a member of the Society but must be living at a different address. Student members must be sponsored by their tutor or supervisor. New members should print out the sponsorship form, have it signed by their sponsor and take it to the Library on their first visit.
